Clinical Cases:
Definition: Is an acute & chronic Bacterial disease.Common in chicken & Turkey always associate with break in the skin mucous membranes or immunosupression.
Cause: Pathogenic strains of staph. aureus (Gram +ve – Coagulase +ve)
-There are two forms of Disease (Acute – Chronic)
Signs:
- Low morbidity
- Lameness
- Fever
- omphalitis
- Emaciation
Diagnosis: Isolation From: Blood exudate from swollen food pads,Tendon,Sheath,Synovial bursae,Wound,Liver and spleen
Treatment: Antibiotic Specially Novobiocin
